Tips for WRITING!
Setting dat' mood-
I have a set play list of music on my Pandora station that really gets me in the writing mood.
You know how some people like to eat then use a tooth pick?
Have a soda with dinner?
Have a smoke after getting Jiggy? (Yea you do)
We all have our habbits. Writing is much the same, even if you aren't feeling inspired, or 'in the creative mood' having a 'time to write trigger' can really get you moving!
Does it work?
Yes.
How do you know?
Because I didn't feel like writing this article, then I turned on my station and here it is!
Find or create 'your trigger' one of the biggest draw backs writers, or hell people in general, seem to have is that we need to be in a certain mood or have a certain idea to begin a project. So my suggestion is quit waiting for the rain to fall, the temperature to be perfect, for the cat to finally quit begging to be petted and for the stars to align and just do what you love.
Write. Write. Write.
Oh and incase your wondering my 'Writing Music' is Rob Dougan/Arcade Fire hybrid pandora station. Because they are awesome.

Hey Chris,
I stumbled upon a site that lead to another and another. Finally, I arrived here. Although I'm new, and haven't started reading yet, I will say I believe in the project, because I believe in your dedication to doing what you love to do.
I'm an 'everything' artist that hits these ruts that you've mentioned. Thanks for the advice, that seems so simple, but we often forget about. The advice about having a 'trigger'.
